Okay, with all the admin stuff done, let’s get a little bit closer to Cosby Williams.
Q: Tell us about yourself. Do you consider yourself your author’s muse or bane of her/his existence?
I like to think of myself as just a regular guy who’s looking for a good woman to share his life with. I’m not all that complicated, and I’m pretty easygoing. And hearing myself referred to as a “hottie” is pretty embarrassing.
Q: What do you think readers like best about you? Worst?
Bragging on myself doesn’t come naturally to me, but I like to think I have a good sense of humor. I enjoy people, especially women, who don’t take themselves too seriously. I’m hard-working and family-oriented and want to have at least a couple of kids someday. For now, I’ll settle for being a good uncle to my two nephews. As for worst, I have a bit of a temper, especially when I’m protecting someone I love.
Q: Are you mated/married? If so, tell us a little about your mate/spouse.
I’m pretty crazy about marine biologist Monica Sims. She’s gorgeous, smart, funny, sexy — I could go on and on. There’s just one problem: She has a past she’s not proud of and it keeps causing problems for us. Being with her is wonderful and very complicated at the same time.
Q: Okay, we have to have a little naughty fun. Favorite place to seduce your partner?
How about anywhere I can get her alone? Shower sex is lots of fun. All that water and soap and bare skin… I co-own a watercraft rental business, so I have this fantasy of the two of us in the cabin of a go-fast boat anchored in a moonlit cove.
Q: If you could rewrite one scene in the book, what would it be?
Without giving too much away, I’d change the way I reacted to the things Truman Raines said about Monica in the locker room at Gulf Shore Aquarium. (Raines is the billionaire buddy of the aquarium’s director and a real…well, I won’t say the offensive word I’m thinking of.) I’m not sorry I stood up for her, but I should’ve handled it differently. And because I didn’t, it led to major problems for us as a couple and as individuals.

It was a pleasure spending some time alone with Cosby Williams, but now he must depart. If you’re curious, Luke Johnson from my soon to be released novel, Claimed by Love, is being interviewed over here http://www.annettemardis.com/blog. There’s an ebook you can win there as well (and he’s also one of the hotties on this hunt).

Now let’s a closer look at our featured book:
Book Title: Shore Feels Right, Gulf Shore Book 2

shore feels right

Blurb: Once a pariah among her coworkers, marine biologist Monica Sims has spent months reinventing herself as she seeks redemption. A history of failed relationships leaves her leery of romantic involvement until she meets Cosby Williams, the new co-owner of Nauti-Toys watercraft rentals. As things heat up between them, Gulf Shore Aquarium responds to the stranding of a group of pilot whales. When a billionaire bachelor lends his private plane to the rescue effort, Monica catches his eye—and an obsession is born. How will she cope with the unwanted attention? And will her past sins come back to doom her newfound happiness with Cosby?

Author bio: As a girl, Annette dreamed of being an astronaut, but she stank at science and math and became motion sick riding the bus home from school. So she went with her second choice—newspaper journalist—and stuck with it for more than three decades. After years of ignoring well-meaning people who said, “You should write a book,” she finally did. And then she wrote a few more. When she’s not working, Annette usually has her nose in someone else’s novel or her gaze glued to sports on TV. She has three totally spoiled pets, enjoys being the designated sightseer on her husband’s Harley, and volunteers at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home of diva dolphins Winter and Hope from the Dolphin Tale films.
